Creamy blueberry porridge

What will this recipe make?

I had to share this recipe from Arctic Power as I love this nourishing, nutrient-rich porridge including fats and protein that helps fill you for longer.

Whose recipe is this?

Arctic Power
1 cup oats
Half cup water
1 cup almond milk (or other milk)
1 tbsp smooth cashew butter (or other nut butter)
1 tbsp blueberry powder

Optional: a drizzle of maple syrup

Combine oats, water and half of the milk in a saucepan.
Heat while stirring and gradually add the remaining milk.
Mix in the nut butter and blueberry powder.

Serve with your favourite toppings, like a drizzle of maple syrup or an extra sprinkle of berry powder.

Kimchi

This recipe is inspired by attending a fermentation workshop with Trish Dent. Fermenting foods is a way of preserving foods but also a way of converting starches and sugars into lactic acid by Lactobacilli bacteria (good bacteria) and inhibiting bad bacteria. This helps promote a healthy intestinal flora.
